Was thinking of a place to catch up with my friend during the opening of Phase 2 in Singapore and we chanced upon DanielFoodDiary's instagram post on this super beautiful Korean autumn-themed café. It's been a long time since we are able to café hopped around our little island so this café was the perfect place for us to explore (since café hopping is not advisable, we had to choose that one place we really want to go to).
Kreams Krafthouse is located at the Maxwell Chambers (diagonally across the road from the CapitaLand office tower in Tanjong Pagar).

There was a short queue outside the café when we arrived but it moved pretty quickly. The café was also pretty crowded, guess we were not the only ones who flocked here after seeing DanielFoodDiary's recommendation.
The café was spacious and the interiors was truly stunning from any angle. Although they were plastic autumn leaves, they were still a beautiful display and the leaves brought out a feeling of being in Japan or Korea during the autumn season.
Serving mainly coffees and scones, the menu was pretty limited. For the drinks, besides the usual classic pour-over and iced/ hot coffees, there were other interesting options such as Creamy Choco Latte, Goma Latte and even Dalgona Latte which was such a popular craze recently. I saw people in front of us ordering a drink with a scoop of ice cream so I asked the friendly Korean server for the name of the drink and it was the 'Summer Latte' ($9) - It tasted like a creamy Tiramisu Latte and it was pretty good.
We were told that the scones were baked twice in the day, but even then they were pretty much sold out by 2pm. Do take note that if you want to try them you have to get there early. We managed to get one of the last few coffee scones ($4.50) left on the counter. Tastewise it was pretty dry in texture and not as crumbly nor as buttery as what I would have liked.
The food and drinks look so aesthetically beautiful in the café. There's plenty of backdrops inside you can make use of to take photos of your orders and I'm sure they will all turn out great. Love the 'nature' feeling the café brings out with its use of wood furniture all around.
Everything about the place was done well - the interiors with beautiful display and reminiscent of warm autumn days making it a perfect setting for catching up with friends, delicious drinks and friendly Korean staff with prompt service (perhaps the menu can be a little more extensive or increase its current volume of bakes cos they were sold out really early during their opening hours).
Grab a table and read away the afternoon at Kreams Krafthouse - a charming and probably soon to be popular hangout place. It is an absolute joy to be able to experience a little something overseas as we can't travel now.
